Our
Wedding
What a fantastic day!!! We both put a
huge amount of effort and work into organising it, but even we were
surprised at how well it all went.
Here are a selection of pictures from
the day...(it may take a while to load up)

There will be a load more posted here
soon, in the meantime, check out the official photos taken by Photo
& Video on their website
(see our Contact Us page for more details about Photo & Video).
Thanks
Lets face it, despite all our work on
planning the day, we couldn't have done it without the help of a lot
of people. Many of these were thanked on the day in the speeches, but
many people contributed so much to our day that their efforts deserve
to be repeated here for posterity.

Mum: What a speech! (for those of your who'd like to read it
again, click here).
But you did so much more for us; provided emotional support, creative
input, floristry, website hosting, design consultation, printing...the
list is endless. We can't begin to tell you how much it meant to us
both to have you there, and how proud we were. Clearly, the saree look
really suits you - maybe you should start a trend in the Highlands!
Thanks a million.
Graham: What would
we have done without you? Your organisation skills, dedication and patience
ensured that the army of ushers and bridesmaids all had synchronised
watches and that things happened when and where they should. From getting
up at the crack of dawn to put out the direction signs to staying up
until way past midnight to help clear up the barn, you were a pillar
of strength throughout and we were honoured to have you up on the mandap
with us during the Hindu ceremony. Thanks a million.

Dad: Thanks for being there to help us in the run up
to, and aftermath of the wedding. The trip to France to get all the
booze was certainly fun, and I'm glad the Xsara's suspension was hearty
enough to take the weight of all the beer and wine. Your contributions
to the day were more than just financial - in particular your help in
arranging to have all four generations of Streatfield there meant a
lot to us. Thanks a million.
Barbara: Thanks for
providing all the boxes for the reception tables and offering help throughout,
and for looking after Nan and Grandad whilst Dad was tied up elsewhere!
Thanks a million.

Mum: Your support and guidance to us both relating
to the Hindu ceremony was priceless, and helped make the day go as smoothly
as it did. We know how much you helped bring together the two families
and this meant an awful lot to us. Thanks a million.
"Uncle": Thanks
for giving Dipti away, taking your place on the mandap in the afternoon,
and for the guidance about which food to have! Thanks a million.

Andy, Pat and Ajay: Who could have asked for better
ushers??? Despite having a ruthless taskmaster bossing you around all
day, and endless things to do when we're sure you'd all rather have
been swigging a few Jack Daniels back, you made our day flow seemlessly
whilst looking the part throughout! We know we both asked a lot of you
guys, and we'll both be eternally grateful for all you did.
You all deserve medals! Thanks a million.

Pinkie and Jigna: Two more perfect bridesmaids we could
not have picked. When not making half the men swoon with your beauty,
you were helping Dipti through numerous outfit changes and calming her
nerves. It was an honour to have you both there, sharing the seat at
Dipti's side on the mandap. Thanks for helping to make our day so special.
Thanks a million.
